ABOUT KENDRAH ROBINSON
Putting Experience to Work
Kendrah Robinson, an unwavering Muskegon local of 15 years, cherished as both a mother of three and the spouse of a proud Muskegon Big Red. Rooted in academia, her foundation includes a degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University, complemented by a Law Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Her journey transcends the classroom—formerly guiding students in Criminal Justice and Political Science at Grand Rapids Community College, she now stands as a Senior Assistant Public Defender at the Muskegon Public Defender's Office.
​
Appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court, she brings her discernment to the Attorney Grievance Commission Board, a pivotal role involving the evaluation of grievances against Michigan Attorneys.
​
Her impact is not confined to courtrooms and hearings. Her energy extends to community and non-profit ventures like Mediation and Restorative Services, Fruitport Public Schools, the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon, and Youth Leader in her church for over 25 years.

Her extensive education positions her as a knowledgeable and empathetic decision-maker. Having guided students and now a Senior Assistant Public Defender with the Muskegon Public Defenders Office for 9 years, she is unwavering in her pursuit of justice for Muskegon's families.

But it's not just her legal expertise that makes her remarkable. Her active engagement in Muskegon's fabric through community and non-profit work showcases her dedication to fostering positive change. Kendrah is also staff with the Michigan Indigent Defense Council (MIDC), where she's responsible for training Michigan Defense Attorneys in key litigation skills in indigent representation.
